Archie Comics Reader app good for
Definitely an improvement from the previous Archie app. Perhaps I would recommend a way for users to request or suggest specific issues that are not currently made available. Would love to see the complete Veronica series offered. Also missing the Cheryl Blossom three mini series, 4th special and last two books. Really love all the Sabrina books made available. Would be great to see the Sabrina Spooktacular books and original series offered. The Digital collections are really great too. Overall there is lots available to satisfy every Archie enthusiast.
Love the new app and the layout, as well as all the available digests; however finding the downloads can be incredibly slow, especially the larger digests. Would love more of the new "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina".
I wasnt happy about having to redownload my purchased comics, but I had no problems migrating to the new app. My comics are all there and the app seems to be better compared to the pretty terrible revisions in the past.
I love the Archie app because they have some free comics and it is very organized and efficient! I love Archie!
There are literally thousands of Archie comics available in the app, and all of them except for the last six months are available as part of an Unlimited account. Its a great value if you want to gorge yourself on Archie.
The app itself can be relatively slow to respond, even on fast devices (even on an iPad Pro!) when you load a long list of comics -- and the problem is that most titles have really long lists of issues, because there are 75 years of comics here. Once youre reading everything is great. Browsing can be a little irritating.
But the content is top notch and theres so much of it.
its good! but make it have more free comics, instead of 3 put like 6 or something every week
Some bad moments
Before this app came, the old Archie Comics app was updated to an older version, offering everyone 100 free comics. With this new app, other than the Afterlife with Archie previews, there is literally nothing left. I get it, it doesnt hurt to pay, but I would rather use my money to get a game, not some comic. This app wasnt as good as I thought it would be. I hope the creators take this review into consideration.
Basically booted out from old app and forced to use the new one. Lost all of the comics that I had downloaded because they are stuck in the old app. Guess Ill just stick to the paper digests, at least they cant be deleted.
Not as good as previous version. This one doesnt prompt you before buying. Needs improvement.
This app wont let me buy a book that is not 5.99$ I want to buy free books. This app is not good enough, I dont think you should buy this app it needs more work and it needs to be fixed
I updated the app, go thru all the steps only to find out that ALL my books are gone!! What a rip off!! No stars at all
When will we get an update to fix the simple issues that make using this reader so frustrating? At least fix the fit to screen issue!
